About the project
This beautiful Georgian Home is located in Berkshire. The family were nervous about using colour, so we decided to incorporate a soft blush pink to sit alongside a palette of neutrals in the formal lounge. The room is light and bright, and the softness of the dusky pink adds a calming feel to the room. We used the dusky pink on the chimney breast to anchor the pink accents and used soft golds and pewters to add glamour to the room.
By the time we got to designing the Master Bedroom, the clients had gained some more confidence with colour, and opted for a stronger fuchsia pink to add wow factor to the neutral scheme, with a secondary accent colour of black to add drama. This project is a perfect example of how colour doesn’t need to dominate a scheme, instead, pops of colour can be used to gently enhance a palette of neutrals.
